Caring for a baby takes a lot of time and energy. But taking care of yourself is important too.

Even 10 minutes a day of time to yourself can give you energy to care for your family.

Ways to take care of yourself

  • Eat healthy foods you enjoy including 2 fruits and 5 serves of vegetables every day
  • Exercise for 10 minutes daily
  • Meditate or do deep breathing
  • Get a soothing massage
  • Talk to someone you trust
  • Read something you like
  • Write in a journal

Looking after yourself helps your well-being and benefits your whole family. Make yourself a priority too.
