Vaccinations
It is recommended to get the whooping cough vaccine in the third trimester of each pregnancy, between 28-32 weeks, but it can be given until delivery. Family members should also get this vaccine.
The flu vaccine is also safe and good to get anytime during pregnancy.
Some diseases can harm you or your baby during pregnancy. Vaccines help protect you and your baby from these diseases.
Vaccines like chickenpox, measles, mumps, rubella, and whooping cough protect you. Check with your family doctor to make sure you are up to date.
When your baby is born, make sure they get their first vaccines.
