Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- Warm or hot water (1.5 times the volume of the eggs)
Eggs should be well cooked for children under 12 months of age.
Directions
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat well for at least 1 minute until fully combined.
- Add warm water at a ratio of 1:1.5 (eggs : water) and mix gently until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine sieve to remove bubbles and ensure a silky texture.
- Cover the bowl with a lid or foil to prevent water from dripping into the egg mixture during steaming.
- Steam over low–medium heat for 10-12 minutes, or until just set in the centre.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Serving
Do not add salt to your baby’s food. For the rest of the family, you can season with salt, pepper, soy sauce and any other seasoning.
