Who we are

This website is not just a collection of information—it is a product of collaboration.

We have worked closely with parents from diverse cultural backgrounds and built this website using their feedback. Parents helped design, review content, and test the site to make sure it is easy to use and helpful. So, you will find information aligned with Government guidelines, presented in a way that is easily understood even if English is not your first language.

Our team is made of researchers, Child and Family Health Nurses, dietitians, health promotion practitioners and paediatric specialists who have all carefully reviewed and selected the information you will find here. Everything is based on the latest research and government guidelines, tailored to support you in giving your child the healthiest start in life.

Acknowledgment

We would like to thank Tripoli and Mena Association for graciously allowing us to conduct our workshops with parents at their facility. Your support has been invaluable to our project.

We also wish to express our sincere thanks to all the parents who contributed to the development of the Healthy Beginnings website. From the initial design stages through to content revision, your insights and feedback were essential in shaping a resource that truly meets the needs of your community. We could not have achieved this without your support.

We would like to also thank our cultural support workers Dulamsuren Khurelbaatar, Kamal Hadid and Tiba Alhilali for their great work in engaging with their communities and translating the content.
